Doctor Zapata’s introduction to music was wandering and coverer a wide range of different genres from rock to various commercial sounds until one night when in the middle of a dance floor in a crowded club, he felt for the first time the sound, the lights and the vibrations on the floor generated by a talented DJ. From that day, all changed, up to his incursion as a producer. Doctor Zapata's tracks are composed to challenge listeners, genere is optional. Doctor Zapata goes by his motto “A DJ is just as good as his musical taste is”.
He started to convert his ideas into tracks, the rest is history by now, as Isain has a long list of labels - Avioground Records, Evoked Recodings, J-Town Music, Polytechnic Recordings, Sounds of Juan, Suffused Polarities - on his release list till today.
The recent stuff called 'Phylogenetics' contains three of his remixes from three different tracks - Adam Rudin & Energy Of Sound's 'Day Dream', Justin Dzuban's 'Into the Night' and Tristan Eckerson's 'Hielo Morado' - leads us into the relaxed world of Isain, paved with the taste of soundtracks and storytelling chill out vibes, melted into an acoustic reality.
